John 14:15-31 and 16:5-16
Matt 28:18-20 - Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age.”
Rom 8:9 - You, however, are controlled not by the sinful
nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does
not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

Pet 1:10-11 - Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace
that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, 11
trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in
them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories
that would follow.
Matt 1:20 - an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a
dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home
as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.”
Luke 4:1 - Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from
the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert…. V14: Jesus returned to
Galilee in the power of the Spirit…. V18: "The Spirit of the Lord is on
me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me
to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to
release the oppressed
Heb 9:14 - Christ, … through the eternal Spirit offered
himself unblemished to God
Eph 5:18 - Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to
debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
The Spirit is the Spirit of Truth (Jn 14:17);
God’s Word is truth (Jn 17:17)
2 Tim 3:16 - All Scripture is God-breathed [/spirited] and is
useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
Gen 1:1-3 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the
earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the
surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3
And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

Eph
1:13-14 - Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised
Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until
the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.
Rom 8:16 - The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit
that we are God's children.

1 Cor 12:7 - Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit
is given for the common good.

gift of tongues / languages - Acts 2:4-12
1 Cor 14, quoting Is 28:11
1 Cor 13:1 - If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels,
but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 Cor 12:12 - The things that mark an apostle--signs, wonders
and miracles--were done among you with great perseverance.
2 Thess 2:9 - The coming of the lawless one will be in
accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit

4:4-6 - There

declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful

Acts 2:44-45 - All the believers were together
and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and
goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
Rom 12:13 - Share with God's people who are
in need. Practise hospitality.
Eph 4:28 - He who has been stealing must
steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that
he may have something to share with those in need.
1 Tim 6:18 - Command them to do good, to be rich
in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
Heb 13:16 - And do not forget to do good and
to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
