Radio 4 has a series of letters to 2021 for a century coming of age.
I'm not sure this is really a sensible idea, but we tend to divide history into epochs or eras. I wonder if it does make sense to think of the infancy, maturity and decline of an age? The Early Modern Period? The High Middle Ages? The Renaissance and Reformation? Late / High Modernity? The Enlightenment? Post Modernism?
