A friend recommended dafont.com as a good source of free fonts for producing striking publicity and so on.

- I am a Bible believing Christian, husband to Mrs Lloyd, father to the boy and Miss Lloyd. I am the minister of 2 rural C of E churches in the lovely East Sussex countryside: St Mary's, Warbleton & St John's, Bodle Street Green. I'm a Reformed, Conservative Evangelical Anglican. In accordance with my ordination vows, I believe the Holy Scriptures and the Scriptural faith set out in the catholic creeds to which the historic formularies of the Church of England bear witness. I happily sign up the the UCCF and Evangelical Alliance statements of faith. I'm a fan of the Westminster Standards. I believe in the full verbal inspiration, inerrancy and infalibility of the Bible and its supreme authority in all matters, salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. If you think anything here compromises those beliefs, I'd be grateful if you would please contact me. I am working on a PhD on Scripture and the Lord's Supper on Thursdays.

Font Squirrel is my recommendation. Not as many but higher quality and fewer low-quality ripoffs of commercial typefaces.
