I asked the internet the best places to look for free copyright free images especially for church / all age sermon use.
Some of these are general sites, some particularly for Christian content.
I haven't looked at them all in detail and of course you would want to check the rights issues / exact terms, but as a note to self and in case this is helpful to others:

function of Brooklyn Museum is a bit untidy, but there are 365 images from the

Canva - online design thingy for flyers and posters etc. lots of free images that are easily
