What did Jesus think he
was doing?
(1) Eating supper with his friends
(2) Celebrating the Passover
(3) Re-interpreting the Passover
(4) Instituting the Lord’s Supper
(5) Anticipating the Wedding Supper of the Lamb
Mulling this over, I wonder if there is something to be said about this as Jesus' farewell supper too (as he prepares for his own Exodus and equips the church for his absence etc.)
