More KJV 400
Radio 4 is telling the story of the King James Bible (3 X 45 mins programmes which will be available on i-player for a while) and will be broadcasting a number of readings, it seems.

I listened avidly to the 3 part series, but was a little disappointed that no mention was made of the Bible actually being the inspired word of God which has been preserved through time. It was an interesting programme, but more political than spritual. Anyway, I am looking forward to this coming saturday and a trip to Hampton Court palace for a lecture given by the Trinitarian Bible Society representative on the KJV.

Yes, I've only caught little bits and pieces myself but I wouldn't be surprised if the take has been less than thoroughly Christian and theological to say the least! :)
