I sometimes write down bloggable / stealable bits / things the sermon sparks off. Very rare that I would take full notes. I guess there would be some usefulness if one filed them away etc. but I think I'd rather listen.
Not sure I'm mad on reading along with the reader provided he can read, too, though it is handy to be able to check up bits durring the sermon sometimes.

I didn't know (or notice) that you're a note taker? Or do you have a memory for such tidbits?
