An amazing money saving tip:
According to printer.com, light fonts such as Verdana and Times New Roman uses less ink so you won't have to top up as often. A particularly thin font such as Century Gothic will use 31% less ink to print compared to the font Arial.

Ah, but which is easier (and therefore faster) to read?
Century Gothic and verdana are also wider so you'll use more paper. However someone made an ordinary font with tiny holes in the letters ro save ink. Can't remember the name though.
This is obviously a complex issue worthy of some sustained study! :)
