I am not advocating the legalization of prostitution, pornography, or the sale of cocaine to eight-year-old schoolchildren in exchange for homosexual favours. What I am saying... is that we do know the general outline of what an explicitly Christian political economy would look like.

Well, thanks for clearing that up for us, Gary!
Although its US focused, there's all sort of wonderful stuff on North's website including his tip of the week, the latest outrages of the government. Enjoy!

Do you not think it's more than slightly barmy, obsessive-compulsive and just a little scary?
But Ros, that's the great delight of Gary North. One of the great polemicists. Never a dull moment. And he's often right, to boot.
I thought "wonderful" might be able to include some of your perspectives, Ros!
He just seems to me all that's worst about pushy Americans. Surely if he's right he wouldn't need to expend so much energy pointing it out to everyone else?
And what's wonderful about barmy, obsessive-compulsive scary men?
"Surely if he's right he wouldn't need to expend so much energy pointing it out to anyone else"
Call the fallacy police!!!
And as a man who is at least slightly barmy and shows significant obsessive compulsive traits, I could take offence...
"Surely if he's right he wouldn't need to expend so much energy pointing it out to everyone else?" wasn't meant to be an argument against him being right, only an argument against his kind of shameless self-promotion.
