Pillar Commentary, p58f. In Mark 1:24 an unclean spirit calls “Jesus of Nazareth
… the Holy One of God.” The only other person to be called “Holy One of God” in
the Bible is Samson the Nazarite in Judges 16:17. The comparison is appropriate
because Jesus is the one who is able to enter the strong man’s house, bind him and
plunder his possessions. (3:27)

London, for a series of Guest Events. We look forward to welcoming you and your
friends to some of the following:
